Description:
Mostly graphical hack that makes the game resemble the Super Mario Bros. Super Show! animated series. Enemies are modified to match their appearance in the show, with King Koopa as the final boss.
Story:
Evil King Koopa and his Koopa pack have taken control of the illusive Subcon Land and imprisoned all of its inhabitants in a large jar. Mario, Luigi, Princess Toadstool and Toad set out on a journey to stop King Koopa before he takes control of the Mushroom World. Don’t let Koopa koop away!

Reviewed By: Wolfie on 14 Jul 2024Having grown up with the Super Mario Bros. Super Show, I had to try this hack. I am pleased to say that it does a good job of capturing the character designs and tone of the TV cartoon. If only Ernie Hudson would show up with his Ecto pack as a copyright friendly Ghostbuster knockoff, we would have the total package! The choice of Super Mario Brothers 2 as the base makes sense, since that was the most recent game when the Super Show first aired. I recommend this hack to fans of that show or to fans of cartoony character designs in general. Captain Lou Albano would be proud.
