Music: No Change (other than boss bgm)
Enemies: Eh (increased health)
Bosses: Eh (new weaknesses, Flash Man)
Weapons: Eh (rebalanced ammo usage)
Castle: Good (Platforming heavy)
Difficulty: MEDIUM (Wily stages are HARD)
Comments: A good hack that’s strength is in its smart level design. Stages have a lot of tough jumps, but there’s plenty of goodies per stage to offset the danger. Disappearing blocks and lasers are also tough but fair. The Wily Castle on the other hand is well-designed but very, very unforgiving, forcing the player to do multiple tricky jumps in a row over pits & spikes. Impressive vanilla hack that’s as tough as nails, second only to NEO.
