Description:
Here is a complete level hack for Rock Man 2. All the levels have been change and some graphical changes have been made as well. This ROM patch is meant for the Rock Man 2 ROM. If applying to a Mega Man II ROM, please apply at your own risk. Included in this ZIP are 2 patches. One is the original patch and the other is the PLUS version which has increased difficulty.

Comments: A hack that is primarily reliant on nostalgia for MM1: its stage design, music, and graphics are lifted straight from it. Best part about the hack is it adjusts the values of the weapons, so that metal blade is ineffectual against a lot of enemies and crash bomb is pretty powerful. Wily stages are a big difficulty spike in an otherwise easy game, demanding some pretty precise platforming to complete. While it’s a decent hack, it doesn’t bring enough new to the table to feel exciting.
